Hi! Let me preface this with I have no programming experience...at all...and I'm trying to make sense of this API for my current line of research. I've poked around the tutorials and the forums, but I think this could be a more efficient means of getting the info I need.
I have a list of around 10,000 songs, and I want to pull audio summaries for each. Here are my questions:
- Based on what I've read it looks like I need a song ID for each song--is there an easier way of doing this than searching for each song ID using artist and song title as parameters then sorting through all the results to get the song ID I actually want aka studio version rather than live version of a song.
- Once I have the song ID getting the audio summary seems easy peasy...but I'd rather not do this 10k times...is there a way to more efficiently get the data?
